It was quite an experience to be performing at this stunning location, with gigantic windows right behind me, looking at the bay of Trieste. I especially liked improvising here, sort of scoring this as a live painting. Here is a moment from that concert beautifully filmed by Giordano Bianchi.

One more live performance from Piano Days 2024 in Trieste. This concert also took place at an unusual location. The eclectic colorful environment of the CX Trieste hostel lobby turned out to be quite a pleasant acoustic environment. And that grand piano took just the right spot. Here I could perform pieces that demand dynamic and quieter detail and I chose to play a few of my film soundtracks. In the video I play Evelin’s Theme from the Slovenian arthouse drama film by Jan Fabris “The Disappearance of Evelin Gale”. The piano version is also part of the officially released soundtrack.

In 2024 I have performed at several unusual locations during the Piano Days. This video captured the birth of a new piece at the public gardens of Trieste, where a fantastic grand piano has been placed by the festival.

On June 19 I have player a concert consisting of my solo piano pieces at the Piano City Pordenone festival. It’s been my pleasure to perform at the festival for the second time and this is not just a formal phrase: the event is an example of impeccable organization. And this unique location in Pordenone (the courtyard of Palazzo Policreti) provided very pleasing acoustics and the instrument was just wonderful!

At the opening of a movie night organized by the Elephant Art Film Production I have performed a few interpretations of my original music from several films.
Music that you hear here is coming from my soundtracks for 4 short films by Jan Fabris: Resurfacing (Spominjanje), The Disappearance of Evelin Gale (Izginotje Evelin Gale), Klara’s Dance (Klarin Ples) and Cold Blue (Hladno Modra).
Here are the three short pieces I have performed as my solo at the big concert in Riga in April 2024.
This was a concert at the Latvian Academy of Music to celebrate my piano professor Raffi Kharajanyan’s 80 years. I have played my own pieces, as well as some piano ensembles with my teacher and other participants.
I will have several live performances at the upcoming Piano Days Trieste 2024 festival, which will fill the city with the sounds of piano during the weekend. These are solo piano concerts and I will play my original works from film soundtracks, solo releases and some unreleased concerts-only pieces.
Concerts are about 45-60 minutes long.

This September Trieste will be the location of a very exciting festival Piano City, filling up numerous public spaces with all types of music for piano, three days in a row. And I am honoured to be part of it.
A totally new program for solo piano that I will perform on Sunday, September 15, consists mostly of my own compositions, some very recently finished, and a few short classical music pieces. This is an easy-listening experience (compared to a strictly classical concert) that will fit casual classical and cinematic music listeners.
