One more live performance from Piano Days 2024 in Trieste. This concert also took place at an unusual location. The eclectic colorful environment of the CX Trieste hostel lobby turned out to be quite a pleasant acoustic environment. And that grand piano took just the right spot. Here I could perform pieces that demand dynamic and quieter detail and I chose to play a few of my film soundtracks. In the video I play Evelin’s Theme from the Slovenian arthouse drama film by Jan Fabris “The Disappearance of Evelin Gale”. The piano version is also part of the officially released soundtrack.

This cinematic video was produced by the Border Studio. Camera by Giordano Bianchi, editing Martina Marafatto. The recording was a spontaneous idea and we have captured the sound by placing several compact mics inside and below the piano.
