Live in Ljubljana – November 2024

At the opening of a movie night organized by the Elephant Art Film Production I have performed a few interpretations of my original music from several films.

Music that you hear here is coming from my soundtracks for 4 short films by Jan Fabris: Resurfacing (Spominjanje), The Disappearance of Evelin Gale (Izginotje Evelin Gale), Klara’s Dance (Klarin Ples) and Cold Blue (Hladno Modra).

The Disappearance of Evelin Gale soundtrack

Out now the original soundtrack for The Disappearance of Evelin Gale. This score won several festival Best Soundtrack awards and I’m glad I have finally put together a standalone listening experience of some of my film music!

The film is a 30-minute long arthouse drama produced in Slovenia with Elephant Art Film Production team and directed by Jan Fabris. The film features a trio of actors: Miha Rodman, Lara Fortuna and Lea Mihevs (on the cover art).

Live in Riga – 3 videos

Here are the three short pieces I have performed as my solo at the big concert in Riga in April 2024.

This was a concert at the Latvian Academy of Music to celebrate my piano professor Raffi Kharajanyan’s 80 years. I have played my own pieces, as well as some piano ensembles with my teacher and other participants.

I will have several live performances at the upcoming Piano Days Trieste 2024 festival, which will fill the city with the sounds of piano during the weekend. These are solo piano concerts and I will play my original works from film soundtracks, solo releases and some unreleased concerts-only pieces.

Concerts are about 45-60 minutes long.

Original score for Checkmate feature film

Today is a big day for a big project! In cinemas the feature film Checkmate (produced in the United States and India) that I’ve been working on. I am responsible for the cinematic part of the score, and also for a lot of music editing, some song arrangements, mixing, additional music adaptation etc. This is a several years long path for the team to create something so exciting, varied and engaging!
